Building, maintaining and growing a website is hard work, but it should always be a fun and rewarding process as well…it’s kinda like having a baby, or tending a garden…the best projects are ones that are tended to, cared for and maintained regularly. It should just feel right, and feel good.
After getting off the phone with one of my clients this afternoon, Antoinette Cabral — just checking in on her progress, as she was working on some updates after our last consultation session — I was so thrilled about what she said, I decided to write about it here. She was super happy, and feeling really good about her website, the feedback she’s been getting, and the support from people who love what she’s doing: (thankfully, she said she didn’t mind me quoting her…)

Sweet! I love the simple truth revealed there. I think that’s what it really should be like — fun, empowering, and just downright good. Unfortunately for so many people, the process of building a website can be a total nightmare…
My goal always is to make the process be an empowering, inspiring and exciting experience. Of course, it can be challenging, but the best outcomes usually take some work! The bottom line, it’s gotta just work — for you personally, and for the larger goals of your business and venture — but it should also just feel right, and feel good!
I always love to hear the stories people have, because building a website is such a personal, and such a powerful thing. It’s sorta like building a home, and then opening it up to the world… and for most people it’s a long and arduous process, with a reward which far outstrips the cost, and the effort involved, as long as you feel right and good about what you’re doing!
