FAQ’s

Can you build me a complete website with this package?

This package will enable you to have a complete basic website set up with an integrated blog, using one of the WordPress theme designs supplied by our partners at WooThemes. You will have access to all pages of your site, and will be able to add your own content, images, etc. (you do it yourself! It’s easy, I’ll show you how).

Do I need to purchase my own web hosting?

You are responsible for purchasing your own web hosting. I recommend HostGator. We have an instructional video to guide you through purchasing your hosting through HostGator.

Will I get my own domain name?

You are responsible for purchasing your own domain name. You may purchase it through your web hosting provider, or through an independent domain reseller. I primarily use Moniker.comfor domain hosting.

Will I own the website?

The website will be completely yours as long as you wish, hosted at your own domain and on your own web hosting server.

How can I have a blog integrated into my existing website?

We will add the blog to your existing website, by adding a blog extension (i.e. www.mywebsite.com/blog ). Depending on your site configuration, we may also be able to add a link to your blog on your existing website.

What if I need to have more customization on my project beyond the allotted time?

Additional development and customization required beyond the allotted time for this package can always be purchased separately as needed, at our reduced hourly rates.

What are your rates again?

This full package is currently priced at $997, and subject to change at any time. My hourly rates are $250/hr. for consulting, and $75/hr. for design and development by my team.

How are you able to build a website at this price?

Your site will be based on a pre-developed professional “theme framework” – much more powerful, flexible and state-of-the-art than any template-based website. Because it’s built on WordPress software (the world’s most popular open-source blogging/content management system) it’s easy for you to update and customize in the future. We will set up the basic site for you, and show you how to add content, but you are responsible for adding your own content, pages, images, etc.

What happens after my purchase?

I will contact you to arrange our first session, and send you a short list of questions to get the fire started, and learn more about what you’re going for. You send it back at least two days before your session. Then the fun begins!

Do you offer any bonuses?

You get a downloadable mp3 recording of our first two calls. Plus warm fuzzies and relief in your heart, cause you’re doing something you’ve been putting off for WAY too long that’s loads of fun, and feels really good to boot! :-)
